What did I just say?
Watch George Bush saying that Iraq had nothing to so with the attacks on the World Trade Center!
Bush: Nobody has ever suggested that the Sept. 11th attacks were ordered by Iraq.
Actually that was a total lie. I remember several stories were Bush and his administration suggested exactly that. Least of all when they said they were going to Iraq for payback. In fact I remember a CBS poll at the time that asked Americans how many think Saddam was responsible for 9-11, and two thirds of them agreed with that statement. Of course Americans re-elected him again. So I guess the lesson is it pays to lie.
