Crucified, every single day

:( I just got back from church this afternoon ... mass was so overwhelming to me.. Besides having those feelings of sadness at how cruel and unforgiving human beings can be, being reminded of the details and reasons of Jesus Christ's crucification just makes me feel so thankful and loved... and want to be a better person :)

I like the Biblical Jesus, but not the Biblical God.

Jesus is about turning the other cheek, and being kind and forgiving, whereas god is about killing firstborns, drowning people to death in floods, and all brimstone and fire!

It is so true hareega people crucify Jesus everyday...if we could only begin to understand the sacrifice He made to exonerate us from hell we would all be at least 'shy' to commit all the sins we do daily.
It is now considered 'modern' and 'cool' to deny Jesus and to be anything but Christian...i keep wondering how someone can willingly choose darkness and refuse the light,it will always be a mystery to me!

Dana, every day events are reminders of how cruel and unforgiving humans can get. The story of crucifixion is a big example.

hani obaid.. well you can make the case about that but I think it's better to understand the context of all these stories. The coming of Jesus was the beginning of a new era and according to the bible the holy trinity is inseparable.

Caroline... most Chrisitans (or people belonging to any religion) who completely abandon their religious beliefs are people who were not really convinced of being a part of that religion in the first place. There are a few exceptions but in most cases it's just like what I've said.
and happy Easter!
