مش حافظه الباقي :)
You are the only person that I could find on the Jordanian blogosphere that remembered that dark day. I am surprized how little was mentioned this year... Maybe we are better off burrying our wounds.
I sincerely hope my assumption of the photo with the Jordanian flag was in memory of Nov 9th hotel attacks. Thanks either way Fares.
Read some of your notes and they re just more than enjoyable to be read! Way to go :) Keep up the good work!
Btw.. sorry about your grandma.. God bless her soul
Whisper... batal el mala3eb ordoni...
Ziad D. .. yes it was, people tend to forget quickly, it may be good in some ways though to forget
Miso.. thank you!
My condolences for your loss, I just learned that through Miso's comment. Please let us know how we can help.
thank you Z
well Hareega, I always think if our government should be responsible for that attack, by the policy we adopted toward the invasion and the occupation since 2003 to 2005 when the attack took place.
Amman hotels bombing - at least for me- remarks the end of good Jordanian days, that was a lovely year, prices and princess wedding, alfasaily won the first regional championship, even the economy was doing well, after that attack everything started deteriorating.
Sha5bo6....your so bright aren't you? I wonder how "logic" works with you. You are also a good story teller, I enjoyed your historical review so much. FYS.
Anon, for example we hosted Paul Bremer the US administrator in Iraq and welcome many US officials who were resposible of the invasion. dont you think this provoked Iraqi people. resistance and even terrorists.
why did not they Bomb Syria hotels or Beirut buildings?
this has nothing to undermine the loss of 60 martyrs, but time has come to look to the matter form a different angle, that if we need to learn something and avoid such tragic incidents in the future.
Shakhboot... whatever we'll do we'll end up provoking some groups of Iraqi people, in 2005 at least that was the case. Our government is definitely not innocent since they supported the US invasion even though their public position was different. We also tried to benefit from it.
I wouldn't say that the economy was good then, and I don't think that everything that followed that attack has much to do with it as much as it has to do with the war in Iraq per se.
