Why Do We Throw Shoes at People?

Because we're pissed of them, that's why.
Because we cannot protest injustice without being afraid of suffering some consequences.
Because one of the worst leaders in history flew to the country he had destroyed as if that land was his own, expecting people to greet him as the liberator who brought them the same beautiful democracy that elected him as president twice despite his single-digit IQ.

Right after the incident, it was ironic to see that AL-Zaidi who only throw a shoe at a jerk being arrested and dragged out of the room as if he was a serial killer while the man who divided a whole country upon itself, caused the death of a 100,000 people and called this war of evil a war of liberation that Iraqis should thank him for was standing there making jokes about the incident and was later defended by many empty-minded self-centered Americans who feel they were personally offended by this attack.

I don't think I totally agree with what that shoe-thrower did, but I sure was hoping for that both shoes to hit their target right in the face.

I vote your "bush/shoe incident" post #1. I agree with you 100%. I too am not sure it was the best thing to do for our image but it was sooo fulfilling yet not enough. I wish it left a scar on him lol. lal asaf, whats happening to that journalist is SUCH a shame!

on a side note, not sure if you heard.. some rich Saudi man wants to be the shoe that was thrown for some high amount of money. I don't know whats more humiliating to Bush now lool.

To me, the upside of the "shoe incident" - if any - is that if it wasn't for it, in a few years time people will probably forget what Bush did for the Iraqis and just get on with their lives and history will fade away gradually, and then Bush will be remembered as just another US president and hero who fought a war and saved the day. Which frankly sucks! However, this way, still everyone will forget what bush did probably but no one will ever forget the President who got slammed with a shoe in his face a few weeks before leaving office :) I mean if he just managed to get by a few more weeks he would’ve gotten away with it. Now he’s the “Shoe President” for the rest of his life :)
