I just hope you were being sarcastic! .. I really don't see what is that he is going to do for us!.. I prefer to be realistic.

I second Mab3oos and dedicate the following Tawfig el Nimri song:

أسمر خفيف الروح بلحظو رماني

أي والله

حاكيتو بسمو يا يمة وهو ما
حاكاني

It's actually a shame that this guy carries the same name of our prophet's grandson.

mab3oos... she3er jameel

Halawa, i'm afraid the best has come already, he's not a miracle maker. I'm just hoping that the same effort he put in Harvard he will put in his presidency. Bush did the same with the effort he put in Yale and that's why his presidency sucked big time.

Ehab, don't underestimate what a terrible US president can do for us, you saw Bush. I'm glad he wont be as bad as Bush.

Ammar, kalam jameel

Anonymous, I guarantee there are plenty of people whose name is Muhammad who you can regret them carrying that name. Focus on the person not the name.

7areega and all,
am wondering wut kind of hope u are seeking as to come out of this brunette! ya3ni wuts ur point?? Wuts the thing ur after? wut are u needs and demands??? wut r ur trials and tribulations???
we are even better without this guy, for neither he nor other presidents have the solution 4 our troubles!! the problem is in and among ourselves and the solution shall come from within.
If we r waiting 4 him for improvement, peace, freedom, development, progress or settlement, we are waiting but for vaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!?

Anonymous, I understand your anger, Ok let me tell you what I want from Obama: I want a US president who will not start a new war for no reason, like the Iraw war. And I want one who improves the economy in the US and stop screwing people like Bush did, and also stop torturing people. Alos I was glad that a black man was elected, which proves America is still a very tolerant country. Period. That's all. I don't expect him to stop supporting Israel or bring peace in our region because that's our job. Arabs expect America to bring all the change that's needed to the region but that will never happen unless we act up, I'm glad because he's not gonna screw it further (I hope). But I understand why all Americans are happy, they definitely have a much better president.

Nuha, I live in America so I care who is the president, and people deserve to have a good president. Secondly, just like what happens in the world affects what happens inside the US, whatever happens in the US is going to affect the world as well, so his election is important.

With all respect to Arab proverbs, a lot of them are a load of crap.

am not ganna talk in this concern any more... we'll see and am ganna remind u.

My Gosh, your comment under Obama picture is a typical Hafeth Al Asad slogan! No sorry we don't want such dictatorships!
