Of dogs and men

Michael Vick....

This football player was arrested and charged in arranging fights between dogs, where the loser dog in the fight is killed in front of cheering people.

News channels never stopped talking about him and describing how horrible this behavior was.

He apologized and asked for forgiveness, and discouraged everybody from doing the same. He will probably serve some time in jail.

I just remembered something I posted more than a year ago,
"It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets."
It's sad to realize that humans sometimes worth less than bitches.

He didn't immediately apologize-at the beginning he insisted that he did nothing wrong through numerous press releases before he showed remorse; you're in a country full of animal lovers and he's a celebrity-when non celebrities torture animals it's news and this guy was making money off a of sport of animal torture! Plus I don't really think his story was even that big in terms of coverage, nothing like OJ or Spears

anonymous... no thanks dude lol! i'm not a supporter of bull fighting or dog fighting, but i think humans are more important than animals and their lives matter more.

asoom... yes it got less coverage than oj or spears or lohan but it should never get any coverage, or very little coverage. The same thing applies to the other stories involoving celebrities. I think the US media is all screwed up. I still can't believe that a failing singer and actress who gets a DUI deserves all that coverage. Don't get me started on thos celebrity stories I feel ashamed of myself when I watch them.

You're right the american media is all screwed up, Jena 6 is way more important than OJ and the vic story and if it wasn't for the blogging world and the rally the story probably wouldn't have been told; however, "it should never get any coverage, or very little coverage." wallah this story is more important than 75% of local stories! The guy made a sport out of animal torture and made money out of it!!!!!!

He apologized and asked for forgiveness now that he got caught otherwise he would be still doing it..
The media here use these stories as just fillers to distract from other important issues, while there is a million story that is more worthy of the time whether it is from inside the U.S. or from outside.. I guess this is what sells these days, you can tell from the magazine covers you see at checkout counters, same faces, same nonsense..
You are right are worth much less these days ...

Sure human lifes are more worthy than animals, but this is totally a different issue. If the media highlighted a human accident with no legitemate reason of behaviour, people would be more outraged.
