There was something wrong yesterday with the Dutch team. I was not able to believe that they knocked down Italy,France and Romania, and then simply loose against Russia.
Yesterday, Holland looked something like Fiji or Iceland ...

It's probably the coaches. As you may know Russia's coach is Hidink , a Dutsch who was the coach of NEtherlands 10 years ago. More than anyone else he know how the team plays. Russia also ha sa bunch of excellent players some of which play for Zenit that new surprise on European level. I don't think Russia will play as nearly as well in the next match and I don't think Holland would have played as nearly as bad as they did today have they qualified.

Too bad! :( They had a great potential!

ARSHIVIN IS THE NEXT BIG THING!!

having perfect record in your group has been the kiss of the death. Holland, Croatia, Portugal... all with 9 from 3, and all got kick in the nuts in the knock out stage.

Qwaider, it's impossible to make predictions man, mine are that Germany will win it , I have a 25% chance of being right lol

Maher, yes this guy Arhcavin is the new Schevchenko

mab3oos.. indeed it was, usually the team that plays best in the first round in theeseEuros doesn't end up winning it. Maybe Germany '96 was an exception

Mab3oos Portugal got only 6 points. The loser Scholari was so focused on his new Chelsea job and to remove Cristiano from manchester that he even lost to the Swiss.
I do not think Archavin is a Shevchenko. I can relate this team to the 1986 USSR that was based on Dynamo Kiev and the fantastic zavarov who was masterminding the whole orchestra, just like Archavin now.
I think Germany is the only team remaining with the real culture of winning atrophy.

Batir.thanks for the correction, yes Germany hasd the "cutlure" of winning but since Greece won it last time i stopped believing in this culture thing, i really wont be surprised if just any of these teams qualifying to the final would win it. I really think each team has a 25% chance of winning it right now.
